

Born on September 30, 1938 to Maria (Bernardo) & Alfred Frias, on the island of Sao Miguel, Azores in the village of Agua de Alto. He came to the United States, in 1949 with his mother to work to bring over the rest of his family. He met the love of his life, Natalie Ann Cabral at Princess Pajamas, a clothing manufacturing company in New Bedford, and married 2 years later. They just celebrated their 68th wedding anniversary.
Everett worked most of his life in the textile industry, starting at Berkshire Hathaway and ending at Julius Koch at the ripe old age of 78. He enjoyed playing cards with his family & friends and going to the casino. He also enjoyed traveling to visit his brother & cousins in California. He loved his country music & classic movies, which he taught his family to enjoy as well. He also enjoyed his final trip to Sao Miguel with his younger brother. But most of all, he loved spending time with his family.
He is survived by his children, Steven Frias & wife, Sandy, Suzanne Brito & partner, Manny, Debbie DeFreitas & husband, Winston and Everett Frias & wife Missy. Grandchildren, Suzanne, Joseph, Eric, Amanda, Alyssa, Cheyanne, Myranda, Stephen & Cheylyn. Great-children, Adriana, Victoria, Brianna, Ella, Troy, Carter, Camden, Johnathan, Isabella and Mahavver, and many nieces & nephews.
He is pre-deceased by his great-granddaughter Deidra and his brothers & sisters, Alfred, Lenora, Gloria, Maria, Antonio & Adelino.
His Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, July 15, 2026, at 10:00am in St. Julie Billiart Church, 494 Slocum Rd., Dartmouth, MA 02747. His Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 14, 2026, from 4:00 to 7:00pm in the WARING-SULLIVAN HOME AT DARTMOUTH, 230 Russells Mills Rd., Dartmouth. Burial in South Dartmouth Cemetery.
