

Born in Fall River, the son of the late Robert G. and Susan E. (McDonald) Lynch, he was raised in Swansea and had resided in Fall River for 20 years. He was a graduate of Case High School, class of 1994.
James had worked for J.N. Phillips Auto glass for 13 years and most recently for Safelite Auto Glass.
Jim was a family man and loved spending time with his children. Always willing to lend a helping hand, he was known as the “bike man” who fixed bikes for the neighborhood kids. He chaperoned the Green Elementary School children and was an assistant coach for the Maplewood Association Baseball Team. He loved the beach and ocean, turtles and his favorite movies The Wizard of Oz and Nightmare before Christmas.
Surviving in addition to his fiancée Elizabeth are his children, Timothy “TJ” Reddy, Robert and April Lynch; a sister, Elizabeth Lynch of Billerica; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
His Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, June 17, 2016 at 10am in St. Mary’s Church, 783 Dartmouth St., Dartmouth. Visiting hours Thursday 4-8pm in the Waring-Sullivan Home of Memorial Tribute at Dartmouth, 230 Russells Mills Rd., Dartmouth. Burial private. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, 101A first Ave., Waltham, MA 02451.
