Born in New Bedford, the son of Kevin F. and Francine M. (Viens) O’Driscoll of Dartmouth, he was a graduate of New Bedford Vocational Technical High School and received his Associate's Degree from MassBay Community College in Automotive Tech.
Jamie was a beloved employee as a Project Manager for Digger’s in Cumberland, RI, for the past five years. Prior to that, he worked as an automotive mechanic and service writer.
Jamie was a World War II memorabilia collector, immensely enjoyed riding motorcycles and dirtbikes, and loved traveling with Sarah and their dogs, Lilly and Gabriel. During his childhood, Jamie traveled with his dad, touring the United States in his Tractor Trailer and visiting 45 of the 48 continental US states. He had a heart of gold, always willing to help, with a great sense of humor, quick wit, and sarcastic remarks. Jamie’s greatest accomplishment was being a loving, caring father. He was also the frontrunner for the “Annual Plunge of the Faithful” fundraiser in honor of his deceased sister.
In addition to his wife and parents, Jamie is survived by his two sons, Tyler James O’Driscoll and Jake F. O’Driscoll; a stepson, Mason Tolman, and several aunts, uncles, cousins, and many friends. Jamie also was blessed with several nieces and nephews including Khloe and Connor Hebert and he was an amazing Godfather to Sabrina Williams and Lyrix Greene.
