Joyce was born in Glen Ridge, NJ to Dr. Rowland and Ruth Goodman. She earned her bachelor’s degree from Upsala College and went on to become head nurse at one of the country’s first trauma intensive care units at University Hospital in Newark, NJ. She traveled nationwide to lecture on trauma nursing.
She met the love of her life, Albert Signorella, and moved to Padanaram, MA in April of 1987.
She dedicated her life to raising her three children. She was very proud of them. She was an excellent mother, always available with love and support.
Her other passions included gardening, art, antiques, theatre, bird watching, and boating.
She is survived by her husband, Dr. Albert Signorella, and her children, Michael Signorella, Julia (Zach) O’Hara, and Jennifer Signorella.
