Born in New Bedford, son of the late James and the late Amelia (Soares) Medeiros he has resided in Dartmouth for most of his life. Mr. Medeiros was a Coast Guard Veteran.
He was the Owner and Operator of Caddy Shack in Dartmouth, a family business he started in 1993. They also own and operate the A1 Car Wash. He retired from the Dartmouth Police Department in 1998 having served the Town for 32 years. He had received his MS Degree in Criminal Justice. Mr. Medeiros had also been a Lobsterman.
While on the Police Force, he had been president of the Union, an active and lifelong Town Meeting Member, he was elected to the Park Board in 1990 and served until 1993 and was appointed to the DPW Board from 2005 to 2008 and the GNB Refuse Board at Crapo Landfill since 2005.

Relatives and friends are invited to gather in the Waring-Sullivan Home of Memorial Tribute, 230 Russells Mills Rd, Dartmouth Wednesday May 29, 2013 at 10am followed by graveside service that will be held at 11am in the North Dartmouth Friends Cemetery, Chase Road, Dartmouth.
