Born in Worcester, a daughter of the late Albert E. and Ruth (Ferreira) Parr. Rita was a graduate of Dartmouth High School and later was employed at Zales Jewelers and Robert Emmet Company prior to her retirement.
Rita loved spending time with her grandchildren and family and enjoying the views from the beaches of Cape Cod.
Rita is survived by her children, Michael C. Silva and his wife Jill of East Sandwich and Sharyn L. Adams and her husband Michael of Marshfield; her grandchildren, Morgan Park Silva, Holly Michelle Adams and Elisabeth Lovedy Silva; her siblings, William Parr of CA, Thomas Parr of AZ, Robert Parr of CA and Barbara Garcia of Dartmouth. She was the mother of the late Michelle L. Silva and sister of the late Linda Rogers.
