

Born in Fairhaven, the son of the late Edward and Mary (Perry) Days , he resided in Dartmouth most of his life.
Bill was a graduate of Greater New Bedford Regional Vocational Technical High School and served in the Army Reserves. He worked as a lithographer at the New Bedford Standard Times for 35 years until his retirement in 1998.
Mr. Days was a member of South East Mass Model Railroad Association and was an avid model railroader.
Survivors in addition to his wife are his children, William M. Days, Jr. and his wife Carole of New Bedford; Richard C. Days of Florida; Nicholas S. Days and his wife Tiffany of North Dartmouth; Barbara Anne Owen of Seattle, WA; Karen Anne Greenberg and her husband Jonathan of New Bedford; Diane Marie Pierce and her husband Christopher of Dartmouth; 12 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visiting hours will be held on Sunday, April 7, 2013 from 5-8pm in the Waring-Sullivan Home of Memorial Tribute at Dartmouth, 230 Russells Mills Rd, Dartmouth, MA. In lieu of flowers donations in his memory may be made to the Make A Wish Foundation of Massachusetts, 1 Bullfinch Place, 2nd Floor, Boston, MA 02114.
