Barbara peacefully passed on January 10, 2020 at her home in Dennis, Massachusetts surrounded by her loving family. She is the daughter of Edna Elizabeth Sherburne and Donald A Berrio. Barbara was born at Cape Cod Hospital. Her mother unfortunately passed while Barbara was just a teenager. She was educated at Mount Saint Joseph’s Academy for Girls in Brighton, Massachusetts.
Barbara started her 22 year career with New England Telephone as an operator, and later in management at AT&T, where she met the love of her life, Ralph Bertozzi. She served as a volunteer with the New England Telephone Pioneers doing charitable work. She worked for 22 years at Ladybug Knitting in Dennis, knitting and making lots of great friends and memories.
Barbara and Ralph relocated to Dennis on Cape Cod in 1987. Together, they enjoyed countless hours of fishing, lobstering, boating, and enjoying year-round cape life. She was a lifelong knitter. She enjoyed many creative crafting activities including: rug hooking, quilting, and Nantucket lightship basketry. Barbara also enjoyed spending quality time with family and friends.
Barbara is survived by her brother Donald Berrio of Stewart Florida, her daughter Elizabeth Ann and husband Christopher Sean Connors of Duxbury, granddaughters Angela Lorraine Margaret and Catherine Aileen, her son James Donald Spinale of Las Vegas, her daughter Marian Teresa (Mikki) and husband Christopher Patrick Cully, and twin grandchildren Hannah Rose and Noah James of Plymouth.

Ralph Raymond Bertozzi passed peacefully on February 4, 2020 at his home in Dennis surrounded by his loving family. He died 25 days after his wife Barbara.
Born in 1931, Ralph was the son of Rose (Madrass) and Bruno N G Bertozzi. He was born in Pawtucket RI, and went to school at Saint Raphael Academy. He attended Providence College for two years, but enlisted in the Army at the outbreak of the Korean War where he served from 1951-1953 as a police officer.
Upon returning from the service, he began his career with the phone company, joining his father and uncles, working for New England Bell as an engineer. He met his wife Barbara while working for the phone company. After working at the phone company for 30 years, he and Barbara retired to Cape Cod in the 1980’s. They enjoyed their retirement together by fishing, boating, and various other hobbies.
Ralph is predeceased by his first wife Joan (Peterson) Bertozzi, his daughter Joan Kim Bertozzi, his wife Barbara Lorraine (Berrio) Bertozzi , sister and brother inlaw, Mary (Bertozzi) McCann and George McCann. He is survived by his step daughters Marian (Mikki) Teresa and husband Christopher Patrick Cully, and twin grandchildren Hannah Rose and Noah James of Plymouth; Elizabeth Ann and husband Christopher Sean Connors of Duxbury, granddaughters Angela Lorraine Margaret and Catherine Aileen; and, his step son James Donald Spinale of Las Vegas.
