

Ann Waldron Sullivan, Age 94 of Beacon Hill and Brewster died on Monday May 16, 2016. Born in Barnstable to the late Francis A. Waldron and Mildred S. Waldron. Devoted and beloved wife of the late John J. Sullivan for 50 years. A 1937 graduate of Jeanne D’Arc Academy in Milton and attended Radcliffe College. Mrs. Sullivan lived on Beacon Hill for 68 years. In 1958 she opened her store “Hilary House” specializing in antiques and interior decorating. A second shop location soon followed in West Brewster on Route 6A. Throughout the years she became one of the foremost interior designers in Boston. Ann was known for her extraordinary style, wonderful way with people and joyful passion for living life fully. Longtime member of the Lotos Club in New York city and actively involved in her community as a member of the Beacon Hill Garden Club, The Nichols House Museum and committee member of the Ellis Memorial Antique show.
She is survived by her son John Waldron Sullivan and wife Kathryn of Ipswich, MA, her daughter Hilary Sullivan Hickok and husband Steven of Brewster, MA, and her grandchildren Slater Waldron Sullivan, Tamer Hawkridge Sullivan and Hunter Laird Hickok. A celebration of her life will be held at 11:00am on Tuesday May 24, 2016 at Brewster Baptist Church 1848 Main Street Brewster, MA.
