Anne was born in Hartford, CT and raised in Collinsville, CT. She moved to the Cape after her Canton High School graduation.
For 35 years, Anne worked at the Cape Codder Newspaper in Orleans, MA. She started as a bookkeeper and retired as a proofreader.
Anne loved flea markets; she made personalized jewelry and knick-knacks. Each year she looked forward to attending the Big E Fair in West Springfield, MA. Anne was also a pet lover; she leaves behind her beloved and devoted dog Penny.
Anne is survived by and will be greatly missed by her daughter Margaret Holmes, husband Collin and their children Elizabeth and Sarah Holmes; her son Charles Martin; her brother William Kennedy, wife Donna, and their children Gail, Amy and Nancy along with their families.
