

Born on December 4, 1931 at his parents’ home in Milford, MA. He was the first born of 6 children to the late Anthony M. Ozella, Sr., and the late Marguerite (Nason) Ozella. And later being the oldest of 14 half brothers and sisters.
Anthony was a lifelong Massachusetts resident living mainly in Milford, Medway, Franklin, Bellingham and later retiring in East Dennis. Anthony’s passion for real estate lasted a life time, as he was a broker for over 70 years employing many agents and loved finding creative solutions to make the average person a home owner. He built and sold over 400 houses and his for sale signs canvased the Milford, Medway, Franklin, and Bellingham area.
Anthony was educated in Medway and graduated from the Norfolk Agricultural High School earning letters, in baseball, boxing, and basketball. He later was a night student at Boston University focusing on business, real estate law, and became a real estate expert witness in superior court.
Anthony’s biggest passion in life was his deep love and devotion to his family. He was the loving husband of Kathleen (Burnett) Ozella for 55 years.
“Tony” and Kathy shared a deep bond and spent nearly everyday with each other working in real estate, gardening and spending time with his 30 grandchildren, 42 great grandchildren, and 3 great-great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his siblings David Ozella, Emmanuella Ozella, Ronald Ozella, Kathleen DeRoche, Paul Ozella, Tina Mabie, Michael Ford, and James Ford.
Anthony is survived by his siblings Lawrence Ozella and his wife Carol, Josephine, wife of Brian Keefe of Edgartown, Esta, wife of David Falvey of Milford, Joseph Ozella of Milford, and Charles Ozella and his wife Charisse of Indianola, IA.
Anthony is also survived by his children Anthony “Rocky” Ozella, III and his wife Kathleen of Dennis, Karen, wife of Joseph Formalarie of Hopedale, Nancy, wife of Chester Timmins of Plympton, Deborah Ozella of Franklin, Daniel Ozella of Coral Springs, FL, Kathryn, wife of Jay Bakalars of Franklin, Michael Ozella and his wife Maria of Milford, Andrea, wife of Matthew Fleming of North Attleboro, and Tara Ozella of Los Angeles, CA. He was preceded in death by daughters Julie Quinlan of Franklin, and Vanessa Farley of Medway. He also was the guardian of and raised Patricia, wife of Donald Genoa of Yarmouth and Franklin Osborne, husband of Karen of Milford.
Throughout his life he had many interests including cooking meals for the family to gather, caring and breeding standardbred racehorses, raising rafters of turkeys for fresh turkey dinners at Lakeview Farms, and being an instrument rated/multi engine pilot.
Anthony was a man of faith, integrity and wisdom. He has been the patriarch of the Ozella family for many years and his wisdom, humor and love will be missed by many.
Relatives and friends are welcome to a Christian funeral mass that is being held on August 25 at 11:00am, at Our Lady of the Cape Parish, 486 Stony Brook Road, Brewster, MA.
