I remember having a really nice talk with Barry during one of Barton's bar mitzvahs for his kids. The programming for video games and the class he took for that fascinated me. I remember seeing him at a carnival once and he gave me a stuffed animal out of kindness. I think it was a purple panda I had that bear for years...He didn't have to do that was very nice of him... He just gave it to me...He had an interesting stereo light show I remember when I used to visit Boston when I was younger.....and I used to go and visit him and Richard when I was growing up . He was extremely bright and a strong grasp on technology and programming. I was always very impressed with that about him. Because I was always living in the New York area I didn't have a lot of my contact with family in the Boston area and spent most of my time with my parents. But this isn't about me but what I remember. He had a quality that everything felt like it was going to be okay when you were with him. He was a free spirit...Just put down your worries and forget about it. That's always how he made me feel. I think part of that quality became part of me. I'm glad that I got an opportunity to express my words and I wish I had lived in Boston and he could could have seen the things that I was interested in.. because, like Barry, I've always been interested in technology - being a licensed ham radio operator and first line medical staff x-ray technologist. Thank you for setting up this website to Barry's family so that all of us could say our memories.
