

She was born in Waltham, Mass., grew up and was educated in Wayland and Newton Center. She graduated from Newon High School in 1940 and Fitchburg State College in 1975. After her marriage she moved to Worcester.
Her survivors include two sons, Thomas R. of the Bronx, N.Y., and James A. of Miami Lakes, Fla., two daughters, Carole A. Maroney of Dennis and Marilyn A. Bick of Houston, Texas. Agnes leaves fourteen grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. She is also survived by one brother Thomas A. Kain and several nieces and nephews.
Agnes was a daily communicant at Holy Trinity Church in West Harwich where she belonged since moving to South Dennis in 1988. She enjoyed working in many church ministries.
Visiting hours will be on Wednesday, Sept. 15, 2010 from 4 to 8 p.m., at the Doane Beal & Ames Funeral Home, 729 Rte. 134, South Dennis, MA 02660. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Thursday at 10 a.m., at Holy Trinity Church, Main St., West Harwich. Interment will be in St. John's Cemetery 260 Cambridge St., Worcester, Mass.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Saint Vincent de Paul of Holy Trinity Church, West Harwich, Celebrate Life Ministry or St Francis of Peace Fraternity.
