Eleanor M Hart

Eleanor M. Hart, 90 of W. Dennis died March 27, 2012. Raised and educated in Woburn, she worked as a secretary in the insurance field prior to marrying and raising her family. During these years, the family lived in both CT and the greater Boston area. As her children grew up, she spent time working as a tour guide in Boston. Cape Cod was a place she visited, vacationed and lived throughout her life. Devoted to her family, she loved to play Bridge, Cribbage, Bowl, sing in the choir and spend time with her children grandchildren and great grandchildren. Eleanor loved to socialize and could spend hours and hours conversing with friends. She was a charter member of the South Village Beach Commission and the Norfolk County Extension.

She was pre-deceased by her husband John, son Denis and granddaughter Tracy. Eleanor leaves her daughter Ellen Starkey and husband David of W. Dennis, son Linus and wife Christine of Chatham and daughter Nancy and husband Paul Cronin of Newton. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren as well as many nieces and nephews.

There are no visiting hours. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday April 9, 2012 at 10am at St. Denis Parish 157 Washington St. Westwood, MA 02090. Interment will be private. Donations in her memory may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
