Elizabeth R Mullen

Betty is survived by her husband of 64 years Robert G. Mullen, her children: Regina M. Mullen, of Yarmouth Port, Virginia M. Walega, of South Dartmouth, Thomas F. Mullen and his fiancé Anne O’Brien, of Jupiter, FL, Patricia M. Karam and her husband Paul, of Natick, and Robert G. Mullen Jr. and his wife Bonnie of Auburn. She is also survived by her grandchildren: Kathleen W. Cobb and her husband Erin, Rick Walega and his partner Melissa Hughes, Michael B. and Colleen E. Karam and her great –grandchildren: Tabitha and Maxwell Cobb.

Betty was born July 3, 1924 in Woburn, MA. She was the daughter of John J. and Elizabeth (Keaney) McHugh. She is survived by her sisters Helen M. Larkin and Alice M. Vigneau and her brother Rev. Joseph McHugh S.J. Betty also is survived by her brother-in-law James T. Phillips.

A funeral Mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of the Cape Church, 468 Stoney Brook Road, Brewster, MA at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, July 12 with burial to follow at the Oak Ridge Cemetery, Route 134, South Dennis. Calling hours will be held at the Doane Beal & Ames Funeral Home, 729 Route 134, South Dennis, MA on Monday, July11, from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m.. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Society of Jesus of New England, P. O. Box 9199, Watertown, MA 02471-9199.
