Emma Lucien Connors

Emma (Lucien) Connors, 78, of Yarmouth Port, MA died peacefully on Saturday, October 28, 2017 at Cape Cod Hospital in Hyannis, MA. She was one of ten children, born and raised in Somerville, MA to the late Henry B. and Aura Marie (Fuller) Lucien.

Emma worked in Boston with Schrafft's Candy for 25 years; after which, she worked with Citizen's Bank and retired after over 25 years of service.

Though she did not have children of her own, Emma was great with children. Her nieces and nephews considered her the greatest Aunt in the world and fondly called her "Auntie Em".

Emma is predeceased by her siblings William, Arthur, Adeline and Leonard Lucien. She is survived by her siblings Mary Lucien of Somerville, MA; Hank Lucien of S. Dennis, MA; Trudy Barry; with whom she lived, of Yarmouth Port, MA; John Lucien of Skouhegan, ME; and David Lucien of St. Louis, MO. Emma is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews.

Family and Friends will gather Wednesday, November 1, 2017 from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. at Doane, Beal & Ames Funeral Home, 729 Route 134, S. Dennis, MA 02660. Graveside services will follow 11:30 a.m. at Oak Ridge Cemetery, Route 134 in South Dennis.
