Erik J. Boggs

Erik was born on May 14, 1973 in Portsmouth, Virginia. He moved to Cape Cod in 1992. He worked as a landscaper and was a former member of the Yarmouth Moose Lodge. He spent his leisure time watching college games, fishing and enjoying nature with friends. His love of the ocean led him to pursue a career on the water and he recently took pride in obtaining his credentials as a merchant mariner.

Erik was a kind and compassionate person and was forever helping people and animals. He is survived by his loving parents, his caring sister, Christine Boggs, and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Erik will be sorely missed by all.

His visitation will be held on Thursday, October 13, 2016 from 4-7 p.m. in the Doane Beal Ames Funeral Home, 729 Route 134, South Dennis, MA. A Mass will be held on Friday, October 14, 2016 at 11am in Our Lady of the Cape, 468 Stony Brook Road, Brewster, MA followed by his burial in Woodside Cemetery, Yarmouthport.

Flowers are accepted and memorial donations may be made to the Sampson Fund to help local animals.
