Gene F. Mills

Gene F. Mills, 80, of Brewster, MA, passed away on September 1, 2010. He was the husband of Jean M. Mills, with whom he shared 55 years of marriage. Gene was a graduate of DePaul University, of Chicago, Illinois, and a Navy veteran. He retired from Medtronic, Inc after 22 years of service. He was an avid golfer, an accomplished amateur watercolor artist and a member of the Creative Art Center of Chatham. Gene is also survived by four sons, Frank, of Houston, Tx, Thomas F. and wife Kathleen, of Greenville, Tx., Robert T. and wife Mary, of Oklahoma City, Peter K., of Tyler, Tx., two daughters, Mary Leah Frey and husband Joe, of Bastrop, Tx. and Virginia Mills Farrell, and husband, Thomas of Dallas, Tx. 13 grandchildren, and 5 great-grandchildren, and sister, Mary Frances Roohr, of Colorado Springs, CO.

A memorial Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, September 8, 2010, at Our Lady of the Cape church in Brewster at 11:00 AM. There will be no viewing. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to DePaul University, 1 E. Jackson Blvd, Chicago, Il, 60604, or to Bishop Lynch High School, 9750 Ferguson Road, Dallas, Tx 75228.
