Jeffrey Beck Perry
December 12, 1967 – October 7, 2021
A life well-lived With deep sadness, our family must announce the passing of Jeffrey Beck Perry, 53 of Dennis MA.
Jeff was born in Needham and raised in Westwood MA, but spent his summers in Dennis until moving here with his family in 1980 at the age of 13. He quickly grew roots wide and deep due to his strong personality and desire to be loved by everyone he met. He befriended anyone that would listen to his unique view of any subject, and took a keen interest in you regardless of who you were, what you did or where you came from. So much so that he became known as the “Mayor of Dennis” in short order.
As a high school student, he studied at the Tech in Harwich, a path that fostered his love of electricity and loud car stereos. More importantly, it fostered his genuine creativity and entrepreneurial spirit. He quickly learned graphic arts and with a small computer in a basement, launched a sign business which he is so well known for to date. He became very successful as a small business owner, with customers both large and small all over Cape Cod. It was his love, his passion and allowed him to build an ever-growing rolodex of customers he chose to call close friends.
There is no question Jeff loved the good life. He enjoyed his cars, boating with his friends, grabbing a cocktail at the drop of a hat and being the center of attention in his ever-expanding circle of influence. He was always the first to reach out to say hello or poke you in the ribs if he hadn’t heard from you in a while. Lending a hand was his natural state, openly expressing his desire to do something for you or help you make a connection to someone else he knew that could benefit you. He loved to travel to interesting destinations and always seemed to make the trip far more than you ever bargained for.
Countless times he could be heard saying “I love small time living” and “I’ve really got a great life”. He felt so blessed to know all of us and make sure you knew it. He was successful in everything he did, whether it was making a new friend, building a house, drinking a beer or playing Zynga poker. He loved every aspect of who he was, both good and flawed, made no excuses and accepted you out of true love for who you are and what you meant to him. In his short life, he lived it to the maximum, pedal-to-the- metal, no holds barred, ready and willing because it was his life and he wasn’t wasting one red hot minute of it.
Jeff’s loving family- His mother Carol, Father Tom (dec), Brothers Tom and Lee, Sister Debbie, Nieces Vanessa and Helene and Nephew Mike express their deepest sympathies to all who knew him.
We love you JJ, don’t forget us. We sure won’t forget you.
A Celebration of Life for Jeff will be held at Encore Bistro &Bar in Dennis on Saturday October 30 from 1-8 pm. Food, cash bar and entertainment will be provided. He wanted a party, he’s going to get one!

I remember you Jeff as the young adult that happened to cruise through Bayview beach parking lot during my high school years! You’d slowly roll down the window to see what was going on. Sometimes we’d even talk you into going to DPM for us to get us some beer😉. You were always so kind and always looking for good times… My family lived one house away from yours and I saw you and your brother faithfully take care of your mother all the years after your dad’s passing. You were an amazing son and will be missed by your family and friends. My sons will forever remember your political views this past year or so (you loved your country)!
May you forever Rest In Peace. 🇺🇸
