Born in Fitchburg on July 12, 1961, he was the son of Sharon Kask and David Simonds.
John is survived and will be deeply missed by his wife, Lisa Simonds and his beloved dog, Sadie; mother Sharon Kask and step-father, Butch Rivers; Father, David Simonds and step-mother, Denise Simonds and their daughters Brittany and Kimberley; Sisters, Tammy Simonds-Dohner and Sherri Cormier and her husband Steve and their daughters Shannon, Sheridan, and Shayla.
Services for John will be held privately.
