Keith Coulter,55, passed away on Tuesday, September 28, 2010 in his home. Born in Schenectady, NY, he moved to cape cod as a teenager with his parents. Melvin and Grace Coulter. Here he built his life and raised two children. Graduating Nauset High in 1973, he went straight into the work force, including the Brewster Water Dept and the Colonial Gas Company. One of his proudest achievements was being on call for the Brewster Fire and Rescue. He had a passion for helping others. He helped in delivering a baby and put others lives before his own by running into burning buildings. During his 30 years on the Department he became a nationally registered EMT, a Rescue Lieutenant and later became a Fire Captain and Safety Officer. He is survived by his children Amber and Kevin; his granddaughter Aundrea, his former wife Cynthia and his companion Jayne and his sister Linda along with many family friends. A visitation will be held on Monday October 11th at the Doane Beal & Ames Funeral Home 729 Rt 134 S. Dennis from 4-7pm. A Graveside Service will be held on Tuesday October 12 at the Brewster Memorial Cemetery at 11am. In lieu of flowers donations can be made in Keith’s name to the Brewster Fire and Rescue Association.
