Lois Veronica Longobardi

Lois was born to Veronica and William Greene of New Haven, CT. Lois attended St. Mary’s Catholic High school in New Haven, CT. Upon graduation from high school, she went on to nursing school at the Hospital of St. Raphael and spent her entire 45 -year nursing career there until retirement in 1996. In 1998, she relocated to South Dennis, MA where she enjoyed retirement years. Lois was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She enjoyed golfing, the beach, and spending time with her husband, family and friends.

Lois is survived by her four daughters, Kathleen Longobardi of Brewster, MA, Diane Roemmele (Richard) of Cheshire, CT, Judith Gannon of West Yarmouth, MA and Karen Lane of Yarmouth Port, MA, sisters-in-law, Concetta (Longobardi) Romano of Wallingford, CT, and Marion Greene of Mattapoisett, MA. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, seven great- grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her son, Stephen J. Longobardi, her brother, James Greene, her sister Priscilla (Greene) Hauser, brothers-in-law Albert Hauser, Luciano Romano, Gennaro Longobardi, and sister-in-law Carol Longobardi.

Family and friends may call from 8:30 AM to 10:30 AM on Friday, February 28, 2025 at Doane Beal & Ames Funeral Home, 729 Route 134 in South Dennis, MA. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 AM at St. Pius X Church, 5 Barbara Street, South Yarmouth, MA 02664.
