Mark Alan Stoll

September 16, 1953May 11, 2021

Mark Alan Stoll, 67 of Peoria, AZ, formerly of MA and CT, passed peacefully into eternal life on Tuesday May 11, 2021, while embracing the hand of his sweet wife, Mary, whom Mark adored.

Born in Cheyenne, WY, on September 16,1953, Mark lived a full and beautiful life. He met his bride, Mary Lo Cascio Stoll, on a blind date and their courtship and time together was magical and full of adventures. They would have celebrated their 28th anniversary this October.

Mark enjoyed deep, long-lasting, and meaningful friendships with so many. Mark was a wonderful conversationalist, clever joke teller, competitive golfer, self-taught chef, and wine enthusiast. His beautiful smile and crystal blue eyes were his trademark. He loved spending summers at their home on Cape Cod and enjoyed travelling the world for both business and pleasure. Mark spent many successful years managing national sales teams for various companies including First Brands, Cole Hersee and most recently Deflecto LLC.

His spirit is carried on by his loving wife Mary Lisa Lo Cascio Stoll, and his beloved family. He will be deeply missed by his son Michael Andrew Stoll and partner Jennifer Taler and the light of his life, his first grandchild, Houston Isaac Stoll, Las Vegas, NV; and his daughter Jennifer Stoll Mondesi, Ph.D. and husband Jose Mondesi M.D., their son Jose (aka Curls) and expected daughter Maite, Medford, OR. His children both cherished watching Mark as a grandfather (Popo) and are saddened for the loss of future memories with his grandchildren. He is also survived by his brother Jonathan Stoll and wife Wendy, Parker, CO, his sister Cynthia Brown and husband Daniel, McKinney, TX, his adoring mother, Dorothy Lehr Stoll, Highlands Ranch, CO, and many aunts and uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws friends and family too numerous to list but not forgotten. Mark will be fondly remembered with love and admiration. Mark was predeceased by his father Albert Stoll in 2002.

Mark and Mary had the privilege to host two foreign exchange students for several semesters leaving an indelible mark on both Duc Ahn Nguyen from Germany and Lena Dandrey from France. Both still hold a special place in their hearts for Mark today and forever.

Beloved family and friends were precious to Mark. Knowing and loving each one of you was the highlight of his life.

Until we meet again.

I was shocked and deeply saddened to hear from Mary about Mark's passing. I truly thought the world of Mark. He was such a good man. I was privileged to work with Mark and my life is better for knowing him. Very easy to talk with, always asked about Shari and the boys, our conversations ranged every topic - he had such a great laugh! I will miss him very much and always cherish my memories of him. RIP my friend.

Steve and I will always remember and cherish the many Thanksgivings shared in Mark and Mary’s beautiful homes. They were always days of laughter and delight. He was so generous
Mark always made us feel part of his family. He had a way about him like no other. Charming, warm, intelligent and witty.
Mary, there are no worthy enough words of comfort. We loved him and will never forget what a lovely man he was how good he was to us!

I've heard it said that you can't choose your family, but you can always choose your friends. Well, Mark I certainly would have chosen you. I have so many joyous memories of our times together as children, and as young adults. You were always so bold, fun, and just had that captivating personality. I'm so saddened that you are gone from us right now, but hope that one day we somehow reunite. My thoughts and prayers are with your Mother (my wonderful Aunt Dorothy), Jon and Cynthia, your wife Mary, your children, grandchildren, and all the rest of us who love you.
Your cousin,

Lena Dandrey

You were like a second father to me. I can never thank you enough for what you and Mary did for me.
I will never forget all the memories you left in my heart: getting drunk on the boat cruise, our talks on the beach at the cape, your pep talks when I wasn’t sure what my next step was, eating the best foie gras and drinking the best wine in France and making sure you bought the only bottles available in the United States ...
I will tell my kids about their host grand father marky and tell them how great of a person you are.
Until we meet again.

Mark and my family go back decades. We worked with and for him in many endeavors.
He was a consummate gentleman and professional business man in every aspect. His infectious smile and positive attitude always made everyone around him feel at ease.
Almost two years ago Mark and I were asked to travel to India to investigate a business opportunity. Even though it didn’t work out we had a fantastic time and we’re treated like royalty. Interestingly enough Mark always treated everyone he met like royalty and I’ll forever be grateful knowing him as a family friend and associate. RIP my friend !

Marki, you have been an amazing host-father during my first stay outside my home. You have showed me that family does not have be bloodline. I felt your love since the first day I met you and the bond only got stronger ever since then. Every day, you lightened up my mood with loughs and joy, no matter how bad my day was. You have been inspirational to me and you taught me to be kind and loving to everybody, so the world would give happiness in return.
You will always have a place in my heart and I will always remember our memories.
I love you Mark, Duci
