Matthew Robert Swayger

Matthew Robert Swayger, 37, of Dennisport, MA passed away suddenly in his home on Sunday, August 26, 2018. He was born in Holyoke, MA and raised in Westfield, MA. He graduated from St. Mary’s High School where he excelled in a variety of sports and was a gifted athlete. He attended Westfield State University where he pursued a business degree.

Following in his Father’s and Grandfather’s footsteps, Matthew became a multi- talented third generation plumbing, heating and HVAC specialist and general contractor. Matthew’s most recent achievement for which he was most proud was owning and operating his rapidly growing and highly successful local business.

Matthew’s dedication and passion to his work was only surpassed by his devotion and unconditional love he had for his mother and three siblings. Matthew was their light, their backbone and their strength and will remain forever in their hearts.

Matthew is predeceased by his beloved father Robert Francis Swayger (2006) and his adored grandparents James and Hazel Affenito and Thomas and Ruth Swayger. He is survived by his loving mother Raphaella (Affenito) Swayger and his cherished siblings Michael, Christina and David Swayger.
