Greenly and Margaret Cocker Greenly. She met and married her devoted husband, William (Bill) Jefferson 71 years ago. It was a long, eventful and happy journey. Over the years, Norma called on her courage, strength and patience to face challenges that few of us will ever know. She will be remembered in our hearts as a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother, great grandmother and friend. Norma became passionate about the game of golf as well as being an avid reader, very active in church affairs, an active bridge player and developed her skills in arts and craft. In retirement, they relocated to Kingsway in Yarmouth port and spent winters in Sarasota, FL. She was also a member of the Meadows Country Club in Sarasota and the Kingsway Golf Club in Yarmouthport. She was a member of the Dennis Union Church. In the prime of her life she was victimized with arthritis, osteoporosis and heart disease, resulting in major operations and therapies that compromised her life style. In the last few years she has been unable to participate in social activities that she enjoyed so much. She appreciated the many get well wishes made by friends and neighbors. Survivors, beside her husband, are her daughter, Susan Garcelon of Nashua, NH, her son, Scott Jefferson of Wrentham, MA, grandson, Gabriel Dark and wife, Jessy of Deerfield, MA, granddaughter, Ashleigh Bunker and husband, Paul of Epsom, NH and great grandsons, Bodhi and Samuel Dark and Owen Bunker. Norma G. Jefferson
July 19, 2020
Dear Bill and family..........I wrote a memory earlier, and don't know if it went through, so decided to say once again what a lovely, talented, and special woman Norma was. I worked with her and saw her integrity and thoughtfulness, and also the many talents she had decorating, making, and creating lovely things.
I also know how much she loved you, Bill, as well as the family. She was a special lady, and will be watching over ALL of you from Heaven.
