Robert P. Gorman, 78, passed away unexpectedly in his home on Thursday, January 19, 2023.
Born in Pawtucket, Bob was the son of the late John and Mary Gorman. He attended Holy Trinity High School and then enlisted in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War. After his honorable discharge from the Navy, Bob became a lineman for Blackstone Valley Electric and later was owner of Cape Cod Muscle Company.
Bob loved fishing on the Vineyard and consultations in the computer room with his best friend Mike, breakfast at Olympia in South Yarmouth, listening to the radio with Luke as they cruised down the highways and byways of life. Bob also cherished spending time with his grandchildren.
Bob is survived by his two daughters, Kerrie Kirby of South Dennis and Tinneil Federer and her husband, Adam of Yarmouth Port; four grandchildren, Elizabeth & Jamie (Stephen) Kirby and Thomas & Emily Federer. The family is deeply saddened and heartbroken by his sudden death.
Visiting hours will take place Monday, January 23rd from 3-6 PM followed by a 6 PM service with Deacon Richard Murphy officiating at Doane, Beal & Ames, 729 Route 134, South Dennis, MA 02660.
