Ronald P Hayduk

Ronald P. Hayduk Sr., 55, of South Dennis passed away peacefully after a brief illness at home surrounded by his family. He was born in Washington D.C., grew up in New York and moved to Cape Cod where he had lived for over 30 years. He built a successful career as the owner of Dukwall Masonry. His ability to turn a pile of brick or stone into a beautiful chimney or wall was one of a kind. He also found joy in spending time with his family and friends fishing, lobstering and working in his vegetable garden.

He will be deeply missed by his wife of 28 years Sheryl (Brunell), son Ronald Jr. of Brighton, daughter Michelle of Centerville, his beloved friend and “second son” Jim Buol of Eastham, his mother Willie (Gomperts) Hayduk of Yarmouthport, father Robert Sr. of South Dennis, brothers Robert Jr. of Yarmouthport, Matthew of Glen Cove, NY, sister Maria McCarron of West Newbury, and a large extended family who were an integral part of his life. Ron enjoyed having his family over so they could appreciate the Cape life as he did. Nightly cookouts and lobster feasts were some of his favorite times.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, September 9th from 2-5 pm at Doane, Beal and Ames, 729 Rt.134, South Dennis, MA. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to a college of your choice.
