Hello

I did not know Sean but I read about him through a friend's Facebook page. I live in Riverview, Fl. which is outside of Tampa.

I am so very sorry for your loss of Sean. The things I've read about him state what a wonderful human being he was and Lord knows, we need more of those here on earth!

We lost 2 of our officers in Tampa a number of years ago and while we didn't know them, it felt like it ripped a big hole in our community.

It's painful knowing the loss that the family and friends of Sean are experiencing..

I wanted to give my condolences and let you know that I care.

I am so very sorry...

Heartfelt condolences to the entire family

His life embodied all that was noble, humane and selfless.

To lose such an exemplar symbol at the hands of one , who was a living embodimt of evil underlines the grim irony of this tragedy.

His life should live onas a model to all young people transitioning to adulthood.

My husband Bob and I want to express to Sean Gannon’s family how very sorry we are for the loss of their husband, son and brother. Our son is a Medford MA police officer and we know the danger he faces every day in carrying out his job. He loves his job, as I am sure that Sean also loved being an officer for the Yarmouth Police Department. We cannot begin to imagine your pain and suffering right now as you lose this courageous and loving young man. We have been glued to our television watching the wonderful tribute to him from police officers from all over our state and our country. He sacrificed his life doing what was right. We will pray for him and for you. My faith tells me that he is now with Jesus, and He is welcoming Sean into heaven to receive His unconditional love for all eternity.

Dara & the entire Gannon family, my deepest sympathy and condolences over the loss of Sean. I never personally had the pleasure of meeting or knowing him, but as a Stonehill alumni and native Cape Codder, I have many friends that knew him well. He is a true hero, and in his short time touched so many lives. My thoughts and prayers are with you all. I hope all the wonderful memories you all shared bring you comfort during this difficult time.

To the Gannon family,
Back about 4 years ago I met Sean. He lived in the same condo development as my mom on Buck Island Road. I met him because my mom had fallen outside and he had been there to help . He was very kind and caring . I was taken aback at how loyal he was to stay with her until I could come to her home. His character and thoughtfulness were really above and beyond. It seems most of his interactions were like that. He will not be forgotten. There are no words for your loss. May God bless and keep you all of your days. Krista Swanson❤
