Seth Walton Peabody

On Sunday January 11, Seth Peabody, 42, of Dennis passed away peacefully at home. He is survived by his two children, Emily Peabody (7) and Maverick Peabody (2). He is also survived by his long-time love Andrea Lammers, his father Ed Peabody as well as his grandparents Ed and Jane Peabody.

Seth loved his children very much, they were his world, and he would do anything for them. He loved boating, camping, bike rides and so much more with his kids. They loved zipping around the campsites on the electric bikes and pool shenanigans with their dad. Seth loved to spend time on the river making memories with his beloved family too. Seth and Andrea met in high school, he in 8th grade and her in 9th and they were inseparable ever since.

Born and raised on Cape Cod, Seth went to Cape Cod Tech and worked at a fish market after school with his dad. He held construction jobs, did landscape work and most recently worked for the Dennis Yarmouth School system as a groundskeeper where he'll be missed. His diverse work history made him quite the handyman for all to enjoy! Seth had a love of hunting, fishing, cooking and was quite the avid NASCAR fan. He enjoyed taking trips to speedways to cheer on his favorites like MTJ, or having a day of watching races at home with the family.

Although Seth was not a social person, he had many great friends. Friends that knew Seth would always be there in any time of need, that they could count on Seth for a good laugh and a smile when they needed it most. His humor and laugh were contagious. Seth will be dearly missed by family and friends but will never be forgotten as the kind, loving person he was to everyone in his life. We were all very lucky to have known Seth. Rest in Peace (ya Cheeky C*nt) :)

Visiting hours will be held from 4-7 p.m. at Doane, Beal & Ames, 729 Route 134 in South Dennis on Saturday, January 24, 2025
