Shirley Ann Stacy

Shirley A. (Chase) Stacy, 85, of Dennis Port, passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by family on April 27th, 2023. She was born June 16th, 1937 in Dennis, MA, the daughter of Walter F. and Helen I. (Tarvers) Chase.

Shirley was predeceased this past December by her husband of 68 years John (Jack) W. Stacy. Together they owned and operated several businesses over the years including Stacy’s Automotive Service Stations, Mike Stacy Landscaping, and Matt’s Organic Gardens. Shirley also worked in the accounting department of Christmas Tree Shops for many years.

Shirley is survived by her three children, Deborah Brigham and her husband Robert, Diane Waters and her husband Allan, and John M. Stacy and his wife Judith, nine grandchildren, Sarah Haynes, Matthew Ernst, Heather Brigham, Jennifer Gounaris, Erin Stacy, Kimberly Fitzgerald, Ashley Stacy, David Brigham, and Rebecca Brigham, and thirteen great-grandchildren, Jasmine, Jenna, and Derek Stacy, Emma and Kayla Haynes, Olivia and Emily Ernst, Lincoln and Aubrey Stacy, Evelyn and Chloe Fitzgerald, and Nora and Audrey Brigham.

A private family burial for Shirley and Jack will be held at a later date.
