And, a special thank you goes to the entire nursing staff of Floor 7B at Brigham and Women's Hospital for their kindness and compassion shown to Susan during her hospital stays.

Dear Family,

My name is Andrew Dalton a former student of Mrs. Capalbo. Susan was an absolutely amazing teacher. She is one of the few that I will remember forever throughout my life. She always brought a smile to our classroom. I am happy I graduated from Norton this year knowing I had her as one of my teachers. I will always be grateful I got to experience her wisdom and happiness.

Thank you so much Mrs. Capalbo for everything- Andrew Dalton

Joe & Family,
I was lucky to have gotten the chance to know Sue as both a colleague & friend. There are many qualities that will forever stand out in my mind when I think of Sue! Above all, was how truly GENUINE she was! Her honesty, sincerity & empathy towards her students, friends & family were so real! I always felt special & cared for in her presence when she'd ask, "So honey how are you (really) doing?" 💓 On top of that, I'll always admire her ability to laugh at herself & not take life too seriously.
Sue...I hope heaven offers the same serenity as the ocean that you loved so much!
Until we meet again. Love you!
-Cathy💓

My heart is broken, and the world has shifted. Susan and I were classroom partners for many years and became lifelong friends. Her kindness, her gentle spirit, and her genuine concern for her friends and family were blessings so many of us were lucky to have shared with her. I will miss our long talks while we were driving and our shared love of Outlander. Susan was a friend I will treasure forever. My heart and prayers go out to Joe and their families.❤️❤️❤️

I am heartbroken that Susan has left us. She and I worked together at Yelle for four years. She brought life and laughter to the classroom each and every day. I was blessed to have known her. Sincere condolences to Joe and all her loved ones.
