Gerardo Perez Marquez, a beloved resident of Lynwood, California, passed away on December 26, 2025, at the age of 69. Born on January 4, 1956, Gerardo was a cherished member of his community and family.
He is survived by his devoted wife, Martha Patricia Marquez. Gerardo was preceded in death by his father, Salvador Avila Marquez, and his mother, Guillermina Perez. He leaves behind a loving family, including his children: Gerardo Marquez, Ricardo Marquez, Ernesto Marquez, Lisalinda Marquez, Cynthia Salazar, and Danny Valdovinos. He was also a proud grandfather to 12 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
A visitation will be held on January 10, 2026, from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm at Funeraria Del Angel South Gate, located at 8665 California Ave, South Gate, CA 90280. The Holy Mass will take place from 12:00 pm
to 1:00 pm at the same venue. Following the services, a reception will be held at The Eagles,
8100 Otis St., South Gate, CA 90280, starting at 4:30 pm.
