Grandpa, it's been a week & everyday i find myself wondering, how can someone so full of life be taken from this life, Our lives. I wish i can press rewind to this time last year to have a little more time with you. Or fast forward to this time next year when the pain from having lost you isn't so fresh. We all have to learn a new normal, whatever that may be but now we have you grandpa as a beautiful angel to guide us. An angel with dark "beautiful" skin like you always said. I'm so sad that you wont be here to call my girls "Blackie" cuz they were blessed with a hint of your color too. And when they get older & don't have to go to a tanning salon, I'll let them know they have Great Grandpa-dad to thank for that. You are gonna be missed. You are one of a kind & there will never be another like you. Behave in heaven grandpa. Never mind just be yourself. I Love You Grandpa-Dad, your "Blackie"

You will be missed.  You were a great person to work with and always made us laugh.  We could ask you anything of you and you always came through for us.  Thanks for all the great memories. RIP

How I regret we did not live closer so we could have spent more time with you Uncle Chuey.  You always brought cheer and joy into everyone's life.  We will miss you always.  You were always my baby uncle.

I remember always checking my hair, makeup and clothes before I saw you, hoping you wouldn't notice the extra 5 pounds so I wouldn't be on the choping block! Dear uncle chuy, you left us so fast we didn't even have a chance to tell you how much you were loved and what a good uncle you were to us.  Family meant so much to you and you got along with everyone.  You had such a good sense of humor and whenever you were around you made us all laugh. I always teased you about Sea World and you had names for every one. Uncle chuy you leave us with many good memories that will live in our hearts forever and you will never be forgotten.  Wow, the family must of put on some party for you when you arrived in heaven. You lived your life, did it your way and like you always use to say, "It's my perogative."  Rest in Peace

Uncle Chuey, We lost you too soon.  I love you and I will miss you and the nicknnames that you gave me.  There are no words to express how empty my heart feels without you here. Working with you for those 10 years are times that I will never ever forget, they were to me, the best years of my working life, you with your  heart of gold, always bringing us donuts, and food, and dropping whatever you were doing just to come into the office and make us laugh and see if we were hungry and crack some of your jokes and hit us with some of your rhymes. Everyone of our employees new you had a heart of gold. You give my Aunt Jessie a big HUG, cause I just know she was the first in line to greet you when you got up there as you passed those pearly gates of Heaven.
