Dear Gutierrez family,

I worked with Laura for several years and I just wanted to say that Laura was such a very kind lady and very pleasant to know. I am blessed to have met her.

Dear Gutierrez Family,

My name is Alisha and I worked with Laura at In-N-Out for roughly 3 years. Laura was a kind and family-oriented individual, and was so proud of Nickolas and Alyssa-- sharing of their accomplishments with softball/baseball or academics.

During our 3 years working together, we spent many lunches going on walks or sharing recipes-- many of which I still make 9 years later (her chicken salad or Mexican rice are now some of my families favorites). What I will remember most of all, is how she left others smiling.

My deepest condolences to you all during this difficult time.

Laura and I met at work many years ago and I looked forward to seeing her everyday. She had the desk right next to mine and I’d pop my head over to chat with her. She was a loving daughter, wife, and mother, and never stopped talking about how proud she was of Nicholas and Alyssa. She always had funny stories, chatted about the good times with Rick, talked about how she enjoyed watching her kid’s games, and always gave us updates on how well they were doing in school. Her family was her world. My deepest condolences to her family. May you take comfort knowing that she is with our Father in heaven and will forever walk by your side. To Laura, may you rest in peace my friend. You will forever be loved and missed. I will always treasure the time we shared and the friendship we had.

Laura and I met at In- N-Out. We shared so many great memories eating lunch together, attending work events, and hanging out outside of work. I still remember going to Alyssa’s birthday party at Chuck-E-Cheese almost 9 years ago! When I left In-N-Out, Laura and I stayed in touch and she convinced me to create an Instagram account so we could share pictures with each other. My first post was a picture of the two of us at the TMZ Tour. Laura spoke about her kids Nick and Ally all the time. She loved them so much and was so proud of everything they did. She made me laugh all the time. Stories of Peety, the neighborhood cats, her Gucci purse sitting shotgun next to her in the car, etc. I cherish those memories and all the advice she shared about motherhood. Being a mom was her greatest joy. I’m truly heartbroken that she is gone, but I know she is in heaven watching over her family. Laura, mi amiga, I love you. I hope you have found peace and rest with our Father in Heaven. You will be greatly missed.

Hi. My name is Cindy and I worked with Laura for approx 10+ years in the HR Dept. I left In-N-Out some time ago but I wanted to share my heartfelt condolences to you and Laura's extended family. Laura and I always found ourselves engaging in deep life discussions that were very heartfelt - I loved her positive attitude, openness and her ability to make others feel important.... She would consistently talk about Nickolas and Alyssa - she loved her kids more than life itself. Laura is and always will be a beautiful spirit that will live with us for eternity. I'm so sorry for the pain you are going through now but I'm deeply thankful to have known her. She is in peace in the loving arms of Jesus. God Bless, Cindy
