Worked with Marlene at Catholic Charities. Great leader social worker friend wife and mom. She encouraged me to excel in everything I did. 

My deepest condolences to the family. I remember Marlene bringing her grand kids over one forth of July asking if my husband can help light there fireworks, since Val was not home at the time and she was not able to light them. We invited her and the kids to stay and watch our fireworks as well, she did and that is where our friendship began. She was a very sweet and caring person, and will truly be missed. 

Speaking to Marlene in Heaven: 
Marlene you were an Angel loved by everyone. Your love of God and helping those less fortunate was evident by the way you lived life.  God gave you a loving husband and family that made you very happy and in turn we see the love they have for you.                                  We will always remember your laugh, I can still hear it.  Always  with a smile and joking.  
I always saw you like a sister and not a sister-in-law.  Thank you for the honor you gave me of being your maid of honor - 50 years ago and of baptizing Anthony.  
One last memory was of you seeing the Maui pictures we shared and how excited you were.  Not long after that you both took off to Maui and loved it.  You were blessed and lived a full life in your 70 years.  We will miss you dearly, but will always carry you in our heart.  May you rest in peace.   Love, Yoly & Mando Romero

Hi everyone my name is Diane Moreno. I met Arlene when I was 8 years old.  She was my sister/ friend. I’m going to miss you so much. I guess it true when they say god has different plans for everyone your gone way to soon.  Things I’m gonna miss about is your beautiful smile plus all the jokes you told. You always made me feel loved no matter what. Please watch over me sis I’m going to miss you. I love you beautiful

Marlene you truly were one of a kind. So loving and caring, to all of those in need. You were the exception to the difinition of the word "Godmother" especially to my son 'Matt'. You know how much he loved you and how you meant the world to him. Thank you for always being there for him, always by his side, just like an angel through out his life, with his own trials and tribulations. your prayers truly helped him pull through some of the toughest times in his life.You were a sister more than a sister-in-law, my beautiful comadre'. And not to mention the most beautiful bridesmaid in my wedding. Thank you for entrusting me to be your baby boy's 'Godmother' I promise I will take care of him and love him just like you would have wanted me to do so. I will always be here for Larry whenever he needs me, and to all of your children as well and mostly for my brother, your husband whom I know you always loved so much. I feel that you truly are a "Champion of the World" you fought your battle with Covid-19  hard and strong like a warrior. But as you know  all to well that God's plans come before anything. When Our Lord and Savior called you back home, I know that the road to Heaven was easy for you, you gave your all to your family and to everyone in need. You will forever remain in our  hearts and I tell Matt that you will still be watching over him from Heaven. Like his own private angel... how lucky is he!

I met Marlene and her husband, Val, when they joined the Legion of Mary several years back. Marlene was one of those people with a beautiful heart and soul. She did much for the Legion and her Parish church. I had the honor of becoming close to her and working with her. One could just feel the grace of God exsuming from her. God added a true angel to his court in heaven. You will be sorely missed but always in my heart, dear Sister in Christ, Marlene. Rest in Peace dear friend, and may Perpetual light shine upon you! 🙏💖🙏

What memory isn’t a good memory with grandma! From knocking on that green screen door to staring at her beautiful green eyes, she just gave your soul comfort. I will miss every memory of being in her kitchen, to her laugh and wanting just to have family time with all. We were blessed with a pure soul who showed us all what love is. I am very grateful I got to call her grandma and will forever cherish all the love she gave me and my children! 

You are going to be missed Aunt Marlene. Thank you for always welcoming us with open arms & especially for always being there for my Grandmother Yvonne. You are such a sweet kind spirit, Heaven must be celebrating your arrival. Even though this is a sad time for Family & Friends it’s a time to celebrate your life and legacy. This is not Good Bye it’s “see you later”.. With love & respect the Pedregon Family. 

I have so many beautiful memories with my Auntie... but the one that will always stand out is how special she made me feel... as a child I’d get to tag along and go camping with her... she always was feeding us good... always made me feel beautiful even though I didn’t feel like I was... as a adult when I’d see her, it would usually be at Flo’s when I was in town with my mom for breakfast... so until I see you again, you’ll forever be in my heart... love you♥️
