Dear Mom,  
     Thanks you for all you did for your children and you family. You always wanted the best for us.  Always encouraged us to do the best we can and do every thing to the best of our ability in anything we do. Thank you for all your guidance and love.

Grandma, I know that we never became as close as I would have liked but I was happy to see you before all of this happened. I hope seeing Henry and myself talking and laughing again put a smile on your face. I'm glad that you were at peace when the time came. Your family loved you very much and I know you're watching over us now. Thank you for everything because without you, I wouldn't be here. Love always, Madilyn

To the entire Hernandez Family - my heart goes out to all of you.  I have many many fond memories of Meche on our many visits to LA and when you all would come visit us.  My mom loved her comadre Meche and I'm sure she welcomed her with open arms.  May she rest in Paradise. Your Vargas cousins from Oxnard love you all very much.
