We grew up together & was the best of friends. I’m so glad we were able to reconnect. You fought real hard & I’m proud of you! I know you’re no longer in pain and are up in Heaven with the rest of the family. Love you always.

My Dearest Rosie.. I am so proud of you! You fought a hard battle till the very end though you knew the outcome was not going to be what you wanted!! You were brave, you were strong and your passion for life was like no other person I know!  I told you many times that you were my hero and that it was ok to stop but you insisted and many times got mad at me! I also told you that your fight was my fight and together till the end I was with you!  My beautiful warrior! You were an inspiration to so many women as you shared your cancer journey!  At times I had to tell you to remove some of your graphic post and you would.  Regardless, you brought awareness and with no filters you told you story!!  No more blood transfusions, no more PET scans or MRIs and no more labs! No more suffering or tears!  You are  Free!! And Rosie.. I didn't lie to you when you would ask me.."Sonia, I'm going to live, right? You are living in Heaven!! Rest In Peace my beautiful Rose! The night of your passing I seen a shooting star as I was driving home. And the first thing I did was pray for you. Somehow God and you were showing me your farewell. I’m forever thankful for that.  Your Faith and Love  for God was Inspiring! Your a True Warrior and you Loved so passionately. I always felt Loved by you because you were always quick to say I Love You Cousin!! Your forever in my Heart! Love you Rosie!! 

Dear Rosie, I miss you so much already. Everyday I’m reminded of you and think about you. When I see flowers, when I pass bellflower Blvd, when I get off of work, when I wake up, before I fall asleep, when I hear a certain song, when I think of Mexico, I’m constantly reminded of you. I hope you’re finally resting and at peace Rosie. Since day 1 of this battle against cancer you fought with everything you had. You always told me that you were going to beat this. That together with God you GOT THIS. Thank you for all the memories we’ve made in such a short time. To all our adventures in Carnaval. I remember you taking endless selfies and videos during every concert and event while we were in Mexico. I regret not taking more pictures and videos with you. To all our endless car rides to doctors appointments, pet scans, and radiation. Being stuck in traffic for hours. Thank you for helping me drive better. I remember my first time driving on the freeway was with you all the way to Pasadena (I prayed the whole time to Diocito that we’d make it back in one piece haha). Thank you for all the laughs we shared. I remember sometimes when you were scared, I would hold your hand and tell you everything was to be okay and not to worry. Those times were the hardest because I truly wanted to believe everything was going to be okay and that you would get better. Sometimes God has his plans already made for us. I truly believe that He had a plan. Thank you Rosie for bringing the family more closer together and also for introducing us to some new faces that we now consider part of our family. Together we all had hoped and prayed that God would heal you. Thank you to everyone who helped and was there for Rosie. Especially to the ones who were there during the most difficult times. I know who you are and Rosie knew who you were and how much you helped her. Together we all fought with you this long battle. I will forever miss you.

My Rosita, my favorite cousin that is what we called each other since we were little girls. Your battle with Cancer brought us closer together more than ever. Your determination to live & your love for God was inspiring. Without knowing you brought our families closer, brought new souls to church & truly became a Woman of God with the upmost extreme Faith to live. You fought to keep all negative thoughts & Medical Reports from your mind you only wanted to hear the positive. Together we took on this horrible Battle. Since day one I was by your side, as we began spending long weekends together my home became yours. Jesse and I would take you places, watched movies, played games & I even became your personal nurse, cook & Uber driver.  You were my Diva demanding at times but for the most part very loving. I’m honored to have been part of your Journey & although your ending is not what we all planned, I have peace in my heart that we all fought hard for you! Now I find myself checking my phone for your new Selfie’s, your meal demands or just simply a leg massage. I will miss you always my Selfie Queen, my Diva, my Favorite Cousin & sister@heart.
