Rudy is survived by his wife, Yolanda Yglesias; his daughter Viviana Molina; his son in law Jeff Molina Jr; his son Carlos Yglesias; his son Johnny Castillo Yglesias; and his daughter in law Katey Casillas; his mother Dolores Popiel and his father † Wesley Popiel; his brother Steven Yglesias, his sister in law Maggie Talavera, his brother Anthony Garza and his sister in law Bogie Garza; his granddaughter Dominique Yglesias, his grandson Jackson Logan Yglesias, his granddaughter Karli Lani Yglesias, his furry grandson Milo Yglesias, his niece Juliette Yglesias, his nephew Justin Yglesias, his nephew Joseph Yglesias, his nephew Troy Garza and his nephew Matthew Garza.

A memorial service for Rudy will be held Wednesday, July 12, 2023 from 12:00pm to 2:00pm at Funeraria Del Angel South Gate, 8665 California Ave, South Gate, CA 90280.
