Phillips, Alice T. "Theresa" (nee Saunders) formerly Wittwer. Was given her heavenly dancing shoes May 1, 2012 at the age of 81 years. Beloved wife of the late Clarence Wittwer and the late Herbert Phillips. Special friend of the late Raymond Stoiber and the late Clifford Adelsen. Loving mother of Paul (Laurie) Wittwer, the late Lillian (the late Louie) Zick, Merle (Julie) Phillips, and Lou Ann (Perry) Valle. Proud grandmother of Tracy (Chris) Beierle, Jaclyn Wittwer, Gary (Cynthia) Wittwer, Eric (Tracy) Wittwer, Mark (Audra) Zick, Mike (Kristen) Zick, Diane (Rick) Bisci, Sherri (Larry) Pautz, Craig Phillips, and Chris Phillips. Great-grandmother of Madelyn, Nathaniel, Faith, Emily, Angel Limberg, and Josh Bucy. Great-great-grandmother of Owen and Luckas. Dear sister of Tom (Annie), Dick (Doreen), the late Bob (Marabelle) , Catherine (John) Cosgrove, Leona, and Betty. Further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Mass of Christian Burial Thursday May 17th at 12 NOON at Divine Mercy - 800 Marquette Av., South Milwaukee. Rev. Steve Varghese celebrant. Visitation Thursday, at the Church, from 10 AM until time of Mass.

Theresa touched the lives of the students she taught during her career as a South Milwaukee school teacher . Theresa had an amazing sense of humor and a zest for life. She was an incredibly kind and generous woman, who loved all those she met in a most sincere way. She was loved by many and will be missed by all. We love you dearly. Memorials to the American Cancer Society or MS Society appreciated.
