Beverly Holstad

Holstad, Beverly Jean of Apache Junction, AZ. Left this world after a long illness on August 15, 2012 at the age of 81. Beverly was born in Stevens Point, WI. She was married to Leonard Axel Holstad on April 30, 1949. Beloved wife of Leonard Axel Holstad, loving mother to Lori (Holstad) Barone and the late Leonard Alan Holstad who recently passed away on March 20, 2012. "Mor Mor" to her six grandchildren, Rob Mountain, Justin Mountain, Leonard Holstad, Terrance Holstad, Heidi (Holstad) Kotzenmacher, Heather Holstad and 7 great-gradchildren. Further survived by many nephews, one niece, other relatives and friends.

Bev worked as a Secretary for Bucyrus Erie, until she suffered a double brain aneurism at the age of 43 and had to retire. Her hobbies included sewing making crafts, drawing, definitely cleaning was her biggest passion, and she was good at it. Beverly was known for her deep love for her two children Leonard "Lenny" Holstad and Lori (Holstad) Barone.

The Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday, August 24th at 10AM at Divine Mercy - 800 Marquette Ave. South Milwaukee. Visitation, Friday at the Church, from 9AM until time of Mass. Interment Forest Hill Memorial Park. Beverly's son Leonard Alan's Ashes have been brought home and will also be laid to rest by his mother's side at Forest Hill Memorial Park. The color guard will be present to honor Beverly Holstad's son's service to our Country during the Viet Nam War.
