I just found out today of Charlies' passing.  It is with great sympathy that I send to his family.  I will always remember Charlie as a Rep for a auto paint company coming into the dealership. He was always there to get the job done right.  I had the privledge of being there for an interview with the Wisconsin Hot Rod Radio show a couple of years ago.  His memory was sharp as ever.  He brought back some great memories that day.  I'll never forget the fun we had recalling days gone by.  My wife and I met Randy at the World of Wheels and was greatful for the info he gave us at that time Charlie.  We just wish we could have had him at the WHRR booth with us to enjoy memories of car clubs of the 50's and 60's.  Charlie will be greatly missed.  Al (Kathy) Stout, West Allis, Wisconsin

Many fond memories of camping with the Plotz's over the years. Mr. Plotz was a great guy, and one of my dad's best friends. He will be missed.

I spent time in the 1950's with Chuck when we both were involved in developing organized Hot Rodding. I always had enjoyable conversations with Chuck and he helped me understand a lot of things about active car activity's. I have not been in communication with him for many years but I never forgot what a good person he was.

My condolences on the loss of your Dad - he was a fun loving man who always made an awkward teenage girl feel welcome in his home.  I remember his wit and laughter.  May you hold him close in your hearts.

I recently became aware of Chuck when I was doing research into how car clubs where formed in the 50’s and 60’s. Everyone we talked to kept mentioning Charles Plotz’s name as a man who assisted many young teenagers in forming many of the great clubs in the Wisconsin area. It was of his vision and integrity that forged some of those young scrappy hot rodders into legendary heroes of today. Several years ago I had the privilege to talk with him about those yester-years. And I will always remember him as a gracious and humble man. Many remembered him and many will continue those traditions he instilled in all of us.

The world has just lost a wonderful witty, kind, respectful, and loving human being.  Thanks for all the memories, cousin.  Rest in Peace with Donna, your parents and all of our aunts & uncles.  What a family reunion!

my condolences to Chuck's family and friends. 
In the 1950's,Chuck was involved in the organization of the Great Lakes Timing Association, was a National Hot Rod Association advisor, a major factor in the establishment of Wisconsin organized drag racing and Great Lakes Dragaway in Union Grove, Wis.
He helped us organize our first hot rod club in 1956. 
He will be missed but, not forgotten.
