Edith Buckley

(nee Rouse), aged 58 of Kokomo IN, formerly of South Milwaukee, died peacefully on May 19, 2014 at Agrace Hospice in Madison WI. Edith was born July 2, 1955, in Springfield IL, the fourth of seven children born to the late Robert Rouse and Harriet Rouse (nee Verden).

Edith is survived by her mother Harriet Rouse; her brothers Robert (Kelly) Rouse, Jeff (Debbie) Rouse, John (Kim) Rouse and James Rouse; sisters Jean (Randy) Fox and Mary Rouse; daughter Cynthia “Thia” Buckley, son Aaron Buckley, daughter Alison (Tom) Buckley–Boshardy; grandchildren Alissa Buckley, Devan Buckley and Margaret “Maggie” Hunter; eleven nephews, five nieces, many pets and a large number of relatives and close friends.

Edith enjoyed spending time with her family, friends, four cats and gardening. She will be remembered for her strength, storytelling and devotion to her family. Edith graduated from South Milwaukee High School in 1976 and attended Sacred Heart Nursing School, where she graduated as an LPN.

Edith spent much of her life working in the health care field and was a constant caregiver. In 2007 she moved to IN and began a career with Active Network. Edith quickly became a beloved member of the company and will be dearly missed by her coworkers.

The family would like to express their utmost gratitude to Agrace Hospice for their care and support.

Services will be held 11:00AM Friday May 30th 2014 at Molthen-Bell and Son Funeral Home 700 Milwaukee Ave, South Milwaukee, WI 53172. A memorial gathering will be held from 10:00AM until time of service. Interment will be held at a later date.
