"Fritz"
In true form, ran off into the sunset, Sunday, February 26, 2012.
Fritz was a dependable, honest, trustworthy and faithful man. His life was filled with many interests. Always an outdoorsman, he enjoyed trapping, hunting and shooting. He was an avid gardner, who took special pride in his roses. One of his lifetime accomplishments was the designing and building of his home. He was a good provider, who took pride in his 43 year tenure with the Ladish Company, where he ran the 154 hydraulic press.
He had many fond memories of growing up on the farm, where he spent time with his co-partner in mischief, his sister, Alice (Tom) Murphy, who preceded him in death.
Fritz, a former four-time track and field state champion, continued to follow track and cross country throughout his lifetime. Fifty years after winning the cross country state title, he had the honor of firing the starting gun at the Alumni Cross Country Meet. Fritz held the office of president for the Racine County Line Gun Club, as well as, military liaison for the Racine Rifle Range.
Fritz was a devoted husband for 72 years to his high school sweetheart, Dolores. He was a caring and always there for you dad to Claudia (Terry)
Ciurik, Jim (Carrie), Kathy (Lee) Robe and Gordy (Lois).
