Gerald "Jerry" Langteau

Of South Milwaukee, Found Peace December 18, 2010 at the age of 86 years. Preceded in death by his parents Leo and Catherine Langteau. Beloved husband of Angie Langteau (nee Kowalski) for 59 years. Loving father of John Langteau, Linda Wunder, and Kim (Dave) Blasing. Proud grandfather of Gina Langteau, Erika Baewer, Alyssa Baewer, Alecia Blasing, Amanda Blasing, Tyler Blasing, and great-grandfather of Eden Blasing. Dear brother of Leonard (Jan) Langteau. Further survived by many loving relatives and friends.

Mass of Christian Burial Thursday, December 23, at 1:00PM at Divine Mercy. 1304 Manitoba Ave. So. Milwaukee. Visitation on Thursday from 11:00AM until time of Mass. Interment Holy Sepulcher Cemetery.

Jerry was born in Medford, WI on August 23, 1924. He married Angie on May 5, 1951 in Polonia, WI. Jerry served in the US Army, 82 Air Borne Division during WWII. In 1952 he opened his first business as a Standard Oil Dealer. He served many customers in South Milwaukee and Oak Creek. In 1989 he moved his business to Oak Creek. Jerry retired in 2008 at the age of 84. He enjoyed gardening, bird watching, watching the Packers and Brewers games, and spending time with the grandchildren.
