Gilbert Russell

2014 with his family by his side. Gilbert was born in Fredonia, KS on

6/19/23. After graduating from Ft. Scott Jr. College, Gilbert joined

the US Navy and served his country during WWII.

Survived by his loving wife of over 68 years, Lorraine (Pfeffer) and his

children, Darrell (Sandy), Chris (Bruce) Cota, L. David (Carol), Karen

(Jim) Brown, Kathy (Ron) White and Jane (Ken) Hanson. Also survived by

his daughter-in-law Val (Eddie) Ellis, 16 grandchildren and 20

great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by his son, James.

Gilbert retired from Geo J Meyer Mfg after 42 years and was a member of

the Catholic War Veterans.

Family would like to express their appreciation & gratitude to

Franciscan Villa and Francis House for the wonderful care they gave.

Visitation Monday, Feb 10, 2014 at Divine Mercy Catholic Church, 8th &

Marquette, So. Milw, from 9:30 am to 11:00 am with Mass of Christian

Burial to follow. Interment at Holy Sepulcher Cemetery.
