Dear Sue, Roger, Cindy and Family,

I was deeply saddened to hear of Mark' death.  Please accept my sincerest and deepest condolences.  My thoughts are with you.

Although nearly 30 years have passed since I last saw Mark, I have thought about him often.  I was privileged to have him as a close friend during my years in college, a transformative period for both of us.  I shall never forget Mark's humor, intellect, loyalty and appetite for life.  He rarely did anything halfway.

In the words of Bob Dylan, "May you stay forever young.” In my mind, Mark, you are forever young.
