Robert Bruce Dyble "Bob" of Cedarburg passed away peacefully after a long, courageous battle with cancer on April 18, 2012, at the age of 64. Beloved husband of 28 years to Bev (nee Martin) Dyble, cherished father of Kelly Dyble, Graham Dyble, Jeff Gentine (Michelle), Tracey Dorsey (Mike) and Trina Stephens (Corey), and proud grandfather of Riley, Miranda and Ella Dorsey and Evan, Gabriel, Aubrey and Peyton Stephens.
Bob was born in Michigan and was a graduate of Northern Michigan University. Bob worked in the financial industry in Milwaukee for over 35 years, including 7 as a branch manager for both Prudential Securities and Wachovia and most recently as Vice President of Investments at Wells Fargo Advisors.
Bob was a man of many interests including tinkering with cars, motorcycles, traveling, sailing, photography, woodworking, skiing and fishing. Some of his fondest days were spent on countless "Great Adventures" whether by motorcycle, Corvette or cruise ship with family and friends. Bob's grandest passion, however, was for the Ronald McDonald House in Milwaukee where he proudly served as a volunteer for over 28 years, most recently as Vice President of The Board of Directors. Bob was a man who loved life and whose positive attitude taught us the true meaning of courage, strength and a zest for life.
The family would like to extend their heartfelt thank you to the doctors and staff at the Clinical Cancer Center at Froedtert and Aurora Hospital in Grafton. A special note of gratitude to Warren Williams, R.N. and the staff at VITAS Hospice for their dedicated and compassionate care and to all his family and friends who surrounded Bob with love.
Family and friends are invited to celebrate Bob's "Next Great Adventure" on Friday, May 18, 2012. An open house from 1-4pm, with some of Bob's friends sharing memories of him at 2pm at Bacchus, 925 E. Wells, Milwaukee. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Ronald McDonald House Charities of Eastern Wisconsin are appreciated.
"Bob, you will forever be in our hearts and may all your rides be heavenly."
