Berg, Ruth E. (nee Osborn) of South Milwaukee. Peacefully completed her life's journey Aug. 13, 2010 at the age of 96 years. Beloved wife of the late Glenn Hansen and the late Casey Berg. Loving mother of Sandra (Stan) Palus (previously the late Ken Knepler), the late Bruce Hansen, Karen (Jerry) Dunn, Laurie Hansen Brill. Proud G-ma of Karri (Chip) Chong, Christopher, Michael (Beth) Knepler; Jennifer (Jerry) Dagen; Laurie (Joel) Tumale and David (Stephanie) Dunn. Great-g-ma of Danny, Christopher, Maggie, Charlie, Hedy Ruth, Mikayla, and Jaden. Dear sister of Kathryn (the late Dr. Dave) Barrett. Dear aunt of Patricia (Bill) Connors, Dr. David (Gerri Hayden) Barrett (previously the late Anne), Kathi (Mick) Ackerman. Great-aunt of 11. Step-mother of Janice (Harpo) Tertadian, Lois (Conrad) Gigstead, Bonnie (Victor) Pestana, James (Shelly), the late Bill, the late Michael, Patrick, and Joseph Berg. Step grandmother of 14. Beloved aunt of Margo (the late James) Kullmann. Great aunt of Jay Kullmann. Further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Mass of Christian Burial Wed. Aug. 18 at 11 AM at Divine Mercy 13th AV. Catholic Church, 1304 Manitoba Av., South Milwaukee. Rev. Steve Varghese celebrant. Interment Holy Sepulcher Cemetery. Visitation Tues., at the Funeral Home, from 4 to 6 PM (Parish Vigil 6 PM) and Wed., at the Church, from 10:30 AM until time of Mass.

Ruth was a retiree of the South Milwaukee Library 25+ years. Ruth was a positive, kind person with a lust for life. In lieu of flowers, memorials to a charity of your choice appreciated.
