

She was a long-time resident of Philadelphia, Abington and Warminster PA. Agnes was born on February 26, 1927 in Reading, PA, to parents, Stanley and Olivia Rickenbach (nee Kidd). She graduated from Pottstown High School in 1944. Agnes went on to establish a career working for Sears, Roebuck and Company for over 30 years. She started as a part time catalog sales agent and ultimately rose to Health Plan Administrator for the Eastern United States.
Agnes enjoyed travel, listening to opera and Frank Sinatra, playing cards and Rummikub with her friends, was an avid reader, enjoyed a glass of wine with dinner and always did the daily crossword puzzles in ink.
Agnes was preceded in death by Frank, her husband of over 30 years and her younger brothers Ernest and Rodney Rickenbach.
Agnes is survived by her son Mark C. Sienkiewicz (Leslie) of Woodbury Heights, NJ, grandson Evan G. Sienkiewicz (Asia) of Deptford, NJ and granddaughter Aleksa J. Sienkiewicz of Washington D.C. along with several nieces and nephews. She is also survived by step daughter Barbara Richter (Allen) and their three sons Brian, Zachary and Mathew who affectionately called her Bubbe.
A visitation with the family will be held at 10:30 AM on Friday, August 8, 2025, at The Chapel at Ann’s Choice, Ann’s Choice Way, Warminster, PA, followed by a memorial funeral service at 11:00 AM. A private interment at Glenwood Memorial Park in Broomall, PA will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Scholars Fund at Ann’s Choice and/or Holy Trinity Episcopal Church, Wenonah, NJ.
