

He was a resident of Shepherd's Crossing in Warminster, PA. Alfred was born on November 28, 1928 in Philadelphia, PA, to parents, Alfred Herman Mueller and Elfreide Unger Mueller. He graduated from Olney High School. He continued his education, graduating from Temple University. Alfred also took continuing courses at Drexel University. He went on to establish a management career, working for Bell Telephone of PA for over 34 years. He enjoyed a long and happy retirement. Mr. Mueller was a Naval veteran of World War II.
Alfred was an avid outdoorsman. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends, hunting and surf fishing and traveling extensively. He also was a skilled woodworker, gardener, and a wonderful cook. Many favorite times were spent at the beaches of Florida's west coast, North Carolina, and Delaware. Special times were spent hunting, camping and fishing at World's End State Park in Sullivan county PA.
Alfred was preceded in death by his parents, his brother, Walter Mueller and his sister, Margarite Gaenssle.
Alfred is survived by his wife of 38 years, Carol Mueller, his children: Janet M. Herr (Robert Herr), Alfred G. Mueller, Richard W. Mueller (Leslie Mueller) and Bethann Mueller-Benninghoff (Gary Benninghoff). He is also survived by his sister, Edna Andersen, step-children, Steven Schmidt and Donna Jenigen (Joseph Jenigen), five grandchildren, two step-grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
